Gambling and DV against women
The relationship between gambling and domestic violence against women.
 
This important national study is examining the relationship between gambling and domestic violence (DV) against women. This includes physical, sexual, emotional, financial and economic abuse.
We are seeking confidential telephone or online interviews with people who have had any of the experiences below. You can register online now or ​email, phone or text us to let us know you are interested. Interviews will be held from mid-July to mid-December 2018. At the end of the interview, we will offer you a $40 shopping voucher for your time and effort.
1) Women who have had a current or former male partner use controlling or violent behaviours towards them (DV)…
  • Linked to their own gambling, OR
  • Linked to their partner’s gambling, OR
  • Who use gambling or gambling venues to cope with or escape from DV
   AND
  •  Have attended a DV, gambling or allied support service
